first of all, grats to the release cuz it's that this game has taken 6 years to be finished.

but how can this game be insame as the intro says, in fact it's just 磨人耐心的.

well, we need to separately see this game because there are mant points to say
for example, from this game, i can see 6 years of 顶级的美工和剧情动画体验, but, also, 6 years of 史山代码的累积.
though it's impolite to 揭人隐私, however, what i want to say is that it has been so many years that Crist Engine NEVER ticks box collision of goomba, thus sometimes players stomp on goomba but get hurt. and there are also many bugs in this game, sometimes players die when in the transition fighting with Jowser
主要来说呢,这个作品的体验是第一个存档点之后断崖式下降的。比如blackhole-4 past的green and red配色令人uncomfortable;blackhole-5的陨石是随机的,这个问题我在四年前在 ZY-3 里就吐槽过。sometimes i pass a level not stand for how i play this game well, but, ..., because simply i act like before but this round i am very lucky。之所以说是断崖式的体验,还有一点是基于我们伟大的原汁原味的 original Mario Forever Engine 之 Crist Engine 并没有修复起跳的严重延迟(https://www.marioforever.net/for ... 1222&highlight=W10E)(that's why i say "but, also, 6 years of 史山代码的累积.")。这就导致一个问题:在这个充满激情的running level全部被不慎(其实是制作模板的固定漏洞)滑入悬崖导致玩家没法act as they want,全部磨灭了。

那么说了这么一些比较令人气氛的设计和体验之后,再说说好的吧:
在游戏发布之前我也是非常期待的,因为我知道有拖了几年的坑好不容易发了确实是一件非常泪目的事情(比如我自己还有没发出来的作品)
也有一段时间没有看到这一类档次质量的国外作品了,这次的作品的剧情也是目前我玩过的作品当中独一档的体验;内容量也是满满的
还有就是前期的一个下降式水关,这一关的新品种(在管道循环反复穿梭的方形刺)从机制上来说和历代国外作品的新品种来说略微“平平无奇”,但是非常让我惊讶的是,这一关的刺的设计和摆放很好的遵循了任天堂式的起承转合设计,因此我又惊讶又满意(这关的游戏体验也很棒)

暂时先说这么多,我刚打完Jowser,这玩意儿真不难,skills are not difficult to 躲。另外,我并不是 UT 或者 DR 的粉丝,所以听见 Boss “Oh” 的叫声还是感到很奇怪的,所以要客观一点也就只能从游戏体验这一方面着手评价了,主要是这个角度我想说明一下。但是这Boss is too long。i may give a formal comment atfer i complete this game

I didn't expect that the two long-standing projects, the music project and the blackhole server, would have sequels. However, it is a pity that this is not the end. I hope to see the completion of these series in my lifetime.

Hello, I appreciate your review! I didn't understand the whole thing because it's a mix of Chinese and English, but I will try to reply to whatever I can. Of course I acknowledge that since this was a project of 6-7 years, a lot of superior mario engines were already released, including a better version of Powerup Engine by Crist, which I was using an old version of, which would make this one look inferior and lacking in physics, totally understandable, even my own way of doing events and actions has changed drastically if you compare the first frame and last frame of this game, it's only logical for the amount of time.

Another thing you mentioned is length of bosses, all of them were, of course, intentional, because that's a design choice from the creator, and it follow a very logical approach, Mecha bro. (Short battle), PR (Medium battle), Phantomic Jowser (Long battle, hence the infinity and the fact that this fight was meant to be going infinitely due to story reasons), Final Battle (was meant to go forever until the player fulfills victory condition), and all of them are part of the difficulty of the game mentioned at the beginning of the game, in addition to the warning at the beginning of Final Showdown stage, so hopefully it's more clear to you now.

Final thing I want to comment on is color scheme of Black Hole - 4 Past, first I have to clear something off, I am a color blind person, however the colors of this level were very comfortable for my eyes, I also showcased this level to a lot of people before release and I don't think anybody complained about colors, so at this point I'd say it's a matter of preference in what is more comfortable for your eye, probably..

In the end I'd like to thank you for the positive things you said about the game, it's very much appreciated.

I'd like to also add that nobody beta-tested this game except for myself -doing hundreds of attempts for each playable section- so of course, gameplay wouldn't be perfect, but honestly I couldn't afford to spoil the story even for Forever Team, and that's why I chose to do all of this by myself..

Thank you so much for your comment, it means so much for me, you can't imagine how much it means for a creator to hear someone saying he'd want to see the ending of the story in his lifetime, in exchange, I'd do anything to fulfill your wish in the future.

OK.I just cleared the game last night now I will give my comments here.
I cannot think anything to say about first 7 level so I'll just start with Blackhole-5 since this level has a bad design like other levels in Western MF fangames like Ń-7 in Polish Letter Worlds and Christmas Remix-3.To be honest I don't think a level that completely needs the pretty bad luck to complete is a good idea.I do believe that "random" enemies (like lakitus and falling stars) spam poses a huge threat to the people who want to beat it deathless or just simply want to clear the level and it is really a cheap shot.
The following 3 levels are also okay for me so I will straightly talk about Final Showdown,the boss fight that I have the worst experience.First,when HP of the boss is reduced to a specific amount,the boss will instantly change the pattern of throwing the red bullet,which may give the players a scare.And if players is in small state,it almost become a sentence to death for players since the first half of final special attack is pretty random and there are so many bullets that players may fail to make quick and precise reaction.(But the second half is a lot better yeah)
I pretty like the chase level and I had a lot of fun in the level.The slipery floor bug is the worst thing in this level.If the bug doesn't exist,I would have no complaints.By the way this level can be done fountainless.If PS don't believe it,I can record a video and post it on Discord as a proof lol.And Rubert VS Pyro fight is really interesting.
As for the final level,I will start with 2nd intro remake a.u.
I really thought this place is bad since players can get killed easily by random bullets.(Sorry that I have to take screenshots in Chaos_Kirby's video since I wasn't recording when I was playing the game)

Finally this place in Project Musicale-6 a.u..The first time I reached this place I just get scared.And there is a place that players need to avoid the random fireballs on the moving platform before.I have to say such design is really bad.

All in all,this can be a really amazing,well designed and challenging game.But it also have traditional flaws in Western MF fangames like RNG spam.Still I think this game is really really good.If works can be done on this game,it can be better

Hello! Thanks so much for review!
Let me start replying to every doubt you had regarding the game.

First of all, this game has the element of randomness in several cases, BH-5, Phantomic Jowser's Fight, and other cases too, and that's not because the game wants you to depend only on muscle memory.

The first case about BH-5 although the level has random meteors falling, however there are some safe spots you can stay under to protect you from the big shards (not small ones), however there are some parts you just have to run quickly or wait for the shard to fall to start moving, but still, randomness element is a must, the game wasn't made with people wanting to finish the game deathless in mind and I didn't know this thing was important in the chinese community (hence why you mention western community as a whole), again please read the first warning in the game, and the warning at the beginning of Jowser's stage too.

In case of Jowser, his fight was totally built to be random and chaotic, every single attack is random, and even every variation of single attacks is random, that's the theme of this battle. Meanwhile him changing attacks in the middle of the current phase is also part of the challenge, you can just wait for the end of the basic attack segment before grabbing the flask spell if you want to avoid that, but you also CAN just predict how he is going to behave upon reducing his tiredness/activeness bar because he changes phases in a known number of lives anyway and you can check my own gameplay it's possible to beat the whole boss in small mario state, again chaos element is necessary...

As for sticky ground/slippery floor bug, I mentioned in a previous comment why it was there and I apologize about it.

Also, please record the video you mentioned, I believe you but I still want to see, I'll be waiting hahaha. 😏

For second intro remake A.U. - that spot especially can be avoided if you stand on plants that fire and rush to the second plant that fires when it goes down, didn't know it posed that much of trouble...

I have no comment about the whirlpools and fireballs in last two sections to be hoenst, you should be skillful enough to avoid them and I know you can, just need good timing 🐸
